Jadd Desert, Dune Maze and the Alter of Time

Priorities:

  • Follow lester

Mini Walkthrough:

Not much to do in this first screen, just exit out the South East corner.

Here, kill the Cobra's and the Cockatrice. Go up the to North East corner and follow that path to get a Chocolump. After that exit out the South exit.

Here is the area with the two trees... sound familiar? well walk around them in a figure '8' and the sand fall will stop and reveal an enterance. You will automatically enter the Dune Maze. You will also recieve a quest clear for Quest 37: Endless Walkway once you go back to Jadd and speak with Mr. Cannel again.

This first part is pretty easy. Kill the monsters, whatever is here, pull out your Flail and head down the the South Eastern part of the screen. Hook over to the next peg. Head South from here and claim the Sultan Silk from the tresure chest. Exit South.

Back out in the Desert. Kill the baddies and exit South by jumping off the ledge.

Here, kill the baddies, and nothing else to do, but get sucked into the quicksand. So do that.

Back in the Dune Maze, head North, kill the baddies again and step on the first switch that you see. That will open up a door in the North East corner. Also step on the second switch, that will open up a new enterance outside. Exit North East.

Guess where you are now... Exit South again.

The new enterance is to the West of the quicksand, so go in there.

As soon as you enter, you'll see a tresure chest to your left. This has Baobob Wood. Also on the Right stairwell, there is an earth Earth Seal blocking your path. Use Gnome to destroy it. After you kill that, take the East path and then head South. Step on the switch to activate yet another path. This time the path to the left of you opens up with an exit. Exit South.

Head West and pick up the fire coin in the chest. Heading east, wander your way around the bushes, claim the Baobab wood from the other chest and enter in that cave there.

In here head North. There isn't much you can do so exit up the door to the North East.

In here kill all of the goblins to recieve an axe!!! Yay!! Another weapon. Exit North.

Not a whole lot to do in here. Step on the switch and exit South.

Exit South again.

Here you'll notice that one of the post that was in your way is now gone. So head down there. Step on the switch and the next post will fall down. Step on the switch right in front of the waterfall to make the post in front of the tresure chest disappear. Backtrack and claim the Elephant Tusk. Head back to the far East side and exit South.

In this area, kill the baddies and exit through the North West Corner.

Here, you'll notice that there is a tresure chest with a Red Moon Horn in it. There is also a Stone Seal north of you. You can't kill it yet, so don't worry. Enter in the cave to the West of where you found the tresure chest.

Kill all of the Cockatrice to free the Jinn spirit that was trapped in the statue. He'll ask you if he can join you, so say yes. Exit through the new path behind the sand fall.

Head north and flip the switch. Exit South.

Exit up the path to the East.

Head North and kill the Stone Seal with your newly aquired spirit, Jinn. Exit North.

Head north and claim the Animal Bone in the tresure chest. Don't forget to save at the broken statue. Exit East.

Kill the baddies and Exit East.

Kill whatever baddies, claim the Angel Grail in the tresure chest on the far East side of the map. Exit South West.

There are tonnes of tresure chests in this area, which are actually polter boxes, so try to avoid hopping up onto the ledges. The only one that is a real tresure chest is on the ledge on the South East corner. This contains some Granz Steel. This area is also a great place to level up because you can snipe the polter box with your magic. Exit South West.

Head East to claim a Small Seed from the chest and then head South to take the Oblong Seed. Exit through the cave in the South.

Wander around to the switch on the North West corner and step on it. Now we get to back track a while. Exit South.

Exit North.

There is now a cave opening to the North East. Exit there.

Welcome to the Alter of Time. Save and Heal at the Golden Goddess statue. If you look carefully, there is a hole behind the Golden statue. We'll come back to that later. Take the Marble and the Chocolump fromthe two chests. Exit North.

You'll run into a scene where Amanda, Hero, and another laying on the ground. The other turns out to be Medusa. So she's not dead after all..... Some more chatting will go on and Medusa will finally die. Devius will pop in with Dark Lord and get all pissy. He'll do something to Amanda, and she'll turn into a monster. She will ask Hero to kill her. So he does. Heroine resurects her and gives her blood to Lester so he can change back to normal. It turns out that they are siblings... Amanda dies... again.

New Priorities:

  • Find Sir Bogard and go see Devius.
